Queen of Heart (Change)

Disclaimer: I don’t own the characters, of course that would be Ratana. I don’t make money out of this story otherwise you already would’ve pay to read these two sentences. I do however, own the storyline and if you think it sucks, I’m sorry I can’t give you back your time for reading this. Sorrybutnotsorry.

There was a reason why Lynn didn’t go out to clubs as much as her friends did. The music that was pumping out of the speakers and the lasers blasting everyone, they were giving her a headache. Why did she had to agree to come here with Grace?

“Lynn, are you listening?”

At the sound of her name, Lynn turned around to face her red-haired best friend. Lynn gave her a sheepish grin and said, “Sorry, Grace. What were you saying?”

Grace let out a pout, “You really weren’t listening. Geez, did someone catches your eyes or something?” She leaned past Lynn and tried to scout out who was the lucky girl that had caught her friend’s fancy.

Lynn giggled and pushed Grace back to her seat. “No one. Seriously, what were you saying?”

Grace leaned back into her seat and gave her friend a stare and decided to pick up her beer on the table and took a quick sip. “So, I can assume you’re getting better, right?”, Grace asked while looking at her friend in the corner of her eyes.

“What?”, Lynn asked confusingly.

Grace placed her beer down on the table before turning her body to give Lynn her full attention.

“I mean, the reason I brought you here was to make sure you didn’t hide yourself in your room while listening to sad music. God forbid, I don’t think anyone should listen to Hello while they’re on a heartbreak.”

Lynn grimaced.

“What? Don’t tell me you’re still not over the doctor?”, Graced asked.

She stayed silence.

Grace gave out a sigh before wrapping her arm around the blonde’s shoulder and pulled her close. “Lynn…”

She looked down at her knee. “Grace, I’m trying. Everyday I’m getting better and everyday it hurts a little less.”

Grace squeezed Lynn’s shoulder as a sign of confirmation that she knew her friend was trying to get better, but sometimes Lynn could be a little slow on things. That was why she needed a friend like herself to speed up the progress.

“Alright, alright. Don’t be so sad already. We’re here to have fun!”

Grace let go of Lynn and quickly jumped to her feet. She turned around and held out her hand. Lynn looked at the extend arm and looked back up to red-haired friend.

“Come on! Let’s go dancing!”

Lynn shook her head.

“Don’t be a party-pooper. It will be fun!”

Lynn smiled and hesitated. Grace took the opportunity and grabbed her friend’s hand and dragged her onto the dance floor.

Lynn tried to protest but Grace turned around and smiled at her. “You won’t regret it.”

Seriously, there was a reason why she didn’t go to club.

She turned to look at Grace and saw her friend who was experiencing the opposite of what she was feeling. Grace had her head back, laughing and enjoying the attention she was getting from the men and women surrounding her.

Well at least one of them was having fun.

It wasn’t like she was dancing by herself the whole time, in fact it was as if Lynn was fire and the moths were surrounding her from left and right. She would probably enjoy the attention if she was here a year ago, but now she felt like she was suffocating and she needed to move to a less crowded area to breathe.

She let out a sigh and glanced at Grace once again – tonight would be a long night. As she was about to step off the dance floor to grabbed herself a drink, she felt someone behind her. In that moment, Lynn didn’t know why, but she suddenly felt the need to stay rooted at the position. She knew she should get away but for some reason she was paralyzed. She could smell the floral and musky scent that was dissipating from the person behind her. It was a familiar scent like she had smell it before.

Lynn turned around and she felt her breath had suddenly escaped out of her lungs. Standing in front of her was one of the most attractive girls she had ever seen. The woman was half a head taller than Lynn (almost everyone in here was taller than her). She was dressed in a simple spaghetti white dress that just fell a bit before her knee. The dress pulled out all the curves of girl’s body and showed off her smooth milky skin. She had beautiful dark brown hair that landed just a bit past her breasts. Speaking of breasts, Lynn could guess that would be a C cup.

Lynn finally decided to look up (because staring at someone chest for too long was poor etiquette) to see a woman that was looking down at her with those dark chocolate eyes. And those eyelashes, Lynn wondered if those were real. In amiss of her thoughts, Lynn didn’t realize that her body had decide to take action of its own, she had step closer to the woman in front of her.

The mysterious woman took her hands and placed them on her waist and wrapped her arms around Lynn’s neck pulling them closer together. Usually, Lynn would probably freak out with a such a close proximity with another stranger, even if the stranger was a beautiful one. She would never let another person touch her this intimately in just minutes of meeting (except for her).

Lynn didn’t know if she was holding her breath the entire time they wrapped around each other but she felt a little dizzy. Was it the drink, the light, the music or was it the woman that was getting her heart to beat at a quick pace?

“Dance with me?”

It was the first time the mysterious woman had spoken. If she thought her scent was captivating her voice was more hypnotizing. The low sultry tone that seemed to pull Lynn further into the woman.

Can you fall in love at first sight?

It didn’t occur to Lynn that she nodded her head until she felt her body started to sway to the rhythm of the woman in front of her.

Lynn didn’t know how long they had dance for. It could have been 5 minutes, 10 or maybe an eternity but she knew she didn’t want to let go of the stranger any time soon. However, her fantasy seemed to come to an end when the taller woman pulled herself back from her. She looked at the woman confusingly.

The stranger gave her smile and leaned down to Lynn’s ear and whispered, “Let’s get out of here.”

By this time, Lynn was sure if she wasn’t objecting to the woman dancing with her she would had to object to leaving the club with this woman. For all she knew, this woman could be the next killer.

Instead of shaking her head, Lynn did the opposite.

What are you doing?! Are you really following her home?!

With the affirmation that she needed, the taller woman grabbed onto Lynn’s hand and walked her to the exit. As Lynn walked toward the door, she could see Grace smiling at her and giving her thumb up. She wanted to yell out to her friend but it seemed like her body was being control and she couldn’t open her mouth and speak.

Lynn turned her attention back to the stranger and realized they were getting closer to the exit. If she screamed now, Lynn was sure she could get everyone’s attention- but she didn’t.

She was scare but at the same time, at ease. She couldn’t understand why but the only thought that was going through her mind was what her friend had say in the earlier.

You won’t regret it.

Author’s note: So, as I was finishing writing this I realized the ending seem a little open-ended. I’m not sure if there is going to be a part two because I’m a lazy ass, but I’ll try my best to see if there is part two. If not this could be open-ended and you guys can use your imagination. ❤

Pulse Pulse Pulse (Part 34)

Remember I told you guys that I was working on something well I think I’m finally finish. Well, I said I think because I’m not sure if I’m going to have part 2 but this story ain’t going to be long, probably a one-shot or something.

The reason I wrote this in the first place because there was this one time where I came across a poll and it asked what couple you’re rooting for or what ship needed to set sail or something like that. I mean the first couple I should think of should be Mel and Lynn but for some reason, Bee and Lynn pop up in my face. So, I was like ‘why not’. So I sat down in front my computer and the first half-hour, words were just pouring out but then I got side-track.

Sooooo that’s why it takes me this long to release it, but it’s here. Thank you for reading.

Queen of Heart (Change)

Anyway let’s get back to the usual, I will like to pay tributes and give credits where they are due. First off, thank you Ratana Satis for blessing us with this great comic, which I’m sure we’ll spend countless of hours reading and fangirling over the 2 characters. I also want to thank the translators and staffs for doing an awesome job. You can read this on Lezhin or if you’re smart you will find some way to read it for free but I’m not promoting it here.

Okay, let’s get started.

Oh, did I mention that this is a yuri? Well, it is.

Spoiler Alert!!!!

You know, usually when someone tell me they want to talk to me, for some reasons all the bad thoughts that I have done in the past would suddenly flood my head and I’m thinking, ‘Shit, am I in trouble now?’.

It’s always about Lynn, there is never a moment that is not about her.

Hahaha, I actually laughed when I read this. He makes her sounds like she’s really self-center and cares about no one but herself, but we knowwww that’s not true.

Um, come out as in come out or come out and admits she’s dating? Actually, now I wanna know beside Renny, will the family be objecting to her dating a girl. Cause until now, the topic of homosexuality has not really be delve into.

It’s nice to have such a caring brother and I’m sure Mel will definitely respect Lynn’s wish, for good or bad.

And with every chapter, they are getting cuter and fall deeper in love. Mel will definitely put Lynn first even if she gets hurt in the process. Cause when you’re in love, you’ll lose yourself and will do anything for the other person as long as she’s happy.

This remind me of the time when they first met and how Mel was still a play girl then. Oh, how time flies. The memories are giving me nostalgia.

Wow, this is the best news! Lynn is now first in line, oh shit we may not see her died. Christmas has come early for us.

But why do I get a sense that she’s not that happy with that face. Shouldn’t she be laughing and hugging Mel because of this? She looks a little worried or something.

Oh god, she looks super creepy. Oh my goodness, don’t tell me she’s going to mess this up for Mel and Lynn because I’m going to kill her if she’s going to do something bad.

Wrap Up

So another chapter, nothing really exciting happen except for Lynn’s good news and the creepy ex who looks like an alien that has descended to earth. Oh and Renny gave his blessing to Mel and Lynn so that’s nice. Seriously, that’s all I have for this chapter.

Renny wanted to talk with Mel to tell her that he didn’t mind her dating his sister. He also told her to look at things in Lynn’s way when they come to difficult times. Lynn might not make the best decision but in her ways of thinking, she would be. In short, be patience.

We also could see how Mel and Lynn slowly fall in love with each other and if anything were to happen to Lynn, Mel would have a hard time letting go, for sure.

Then we learned that Lynn was bump up into first place on the waiting list and that anytime now she would be able to go through surgery to get better but… the psycho ex was just around the corner (literally) lurking and stalking the couple. (You may wonder is it because Lynn is lucky that she got bump to first place or is it because ‘someone’ from behind the scene did something and now she’s in first place?)

Honestly, shit better not happen to Lynn because of the stupid ex. Cause oh my god, I literally get goosebumps when I scroll down to the last picture and I saw her looking at them like that, I just have the urge to smack her. Mel if Lynn gets hurt because of your stupid ex, I’m going to blame you too. I just don’t my baby to get hurtttt.

Pulse Pulse Pulse (Part 33)

I don’t think anyone appreciates life until something major happen to them. That’s usually how we are in general. We don’t appreciate things until we lose them. I have watched a lot of shows lately and I don’t know if it’s the show or it’s me, but I realize I can’t sit around forever and have things come to me. If I want something, I have to get off my butt and go get them. There are some people that are lucky enough where they have things handed to them but the majority of the people like us need to work our asses off to get what we want.

So start living life and stop pushing things off until tomorrow, because when tomorrow comes you’re just going to push off until the day after.

Anyway as usual, I will like to pay tributes and give credits where they are due.

Wow, did they even talk about marriage yet? Now they’re discussing about kids. Is this a foreshadowing that maybe we can expect kids from them. Ahhh, omygod, imagine little Lynn running around the house calling mommies. (Yeah, I don’t think Mel will be the one carrying the baby).

Aww, my poor baby. Can this girl ever get a break?

Uh-oh, what’s going on?! Don’t tell me anymore bad news, my heart can’t handle it right now. Hospitals don’t want patients to stay in their place too long cause that mean they may use up the bedding area to those who really needs it. If Lynn has to stay, then she really needs it.

Wait, Grace is quitting? So does that mean we’ll never see her again? So does that mean my theory is untrue?

I’m not trying to be mean, but she took a beating to finally understand that love can’t be force. It takes two people to be in a relationship, one-way love will never work.

At least they leave on an amicable ending. I’m not the person to befriend my ex when things go wrong, so I do admire people when they can stay friend with the one they use to love or at least in a friendly term. I’m an all or nothing person, gosh so extreme.

So a certain someone from a certain story gets a fox, Lynn gets a bunny. And the bunny fits her personality too, soft, cute, fragile but hopeful.

The pet names they use for each other is so cute, I wanna barf rainbow.

Mel, you said it and you better keep your promise. I don’t want any drama later on, where you have to leave her because ‘it’s for her own good’ type of bullshits. I watch too much dramas to know these kind of things.

But look, Renny is not impress!! Uh-oh, I can see a fight that’s about to come. Drama, drama, everywhere.

Wrap Up

I don’t know why but my heart suddenly feels really heavy from reading this chapter. I also don’t know if it’s because there is a sad song playing in the background while I’m reading this. There is not much going on but for some reason when I think that there is a possibility that Lynn may not make it out alive, my heart suddenly aches.

The chapter started out with a flashback between Mel and Lynn, they were discussing about family and Lynn seemed to like kids. (This could be a foreshadowing.) Mel hesitated and said that a complete family didn’t need kids, all it needed was two loving people loving each other. (True)

Then, Mel met up with Grace. They exchanged a few words and Mel found out that Grace would resign from her job and this could possibly be the last time they would meet. (Maybe.) Grace also admitted that she might have been a little stubborn on love before and she finally learned how to let go of a relationship. They parted on a friendly term.

Last, Renny found out about Mel and Lynn’s relationship and he might not be too happy about it. (Which I don’t blame him. Is not like Mel has a good record of dating in her life.)

I don’t really have much thoughts about this chapter except that love is a funny thing. It’s something you can’t hold or touch but it moves you in a way you can’t explain. It comes to you when you least expect it and leave when you think you had a tight hold on it.

I just hope I don’t cry too much when we get to the climax of the story.
